In a vibrant showcase of talent & creativity, Shri Ram Murti Smarak (SRMS) Trust Institutions in collaboration with Tyro Club of SRMS College of Engineering & Technology (CET), Bareilly , kicked-off its 2-daycultural extravaganza ‘ZEST 2024’ (November 29-30)with grandeur. Centered on theme ‘Virasat — A Legacy to Hold,’ major attractions of 2-day fest includes Alumni Meet, Battle of Bands, Renaissance, Street Play, Group Dance & DJ Night, followed by Prize Distribution ceremony.
The DAY-1 was inaugurated by Shri Dev Murti , Chairman SRMS Trust, officially declaring the fest open while encouraging everyone to honorour ‘Virasat’ by continuing the legacy of planting sapling & maintaining cleanliness of the River Ganga. He also unveiled Fine Arts Gallery &Informal Pandal, themed ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ & ‘Halloween’ respectively. The event was graced by Richa Murti, Director, SRMS Goodlife Hospital; Dr Prabhakar Gupta , Principal CET; Dr Shailendra Deva , Vice Principal & Dean Research; Dr Anuj Kumar , Director TDP Cell; Dr Arti Gupta , Director Pharmacy & Dr Shailesh Saxena , Dean Academics, CETR.
The vibrant ceremony featured energetic Bollywood group dances, band performances, drama acts & an exquisite fusion of theme-based dances. Divyanshu Chauhan, President of Tyro, delivered an insightful address, offering a glimpse into tremendous efforts behind Zest’s preparations through a compelling video presentation. The formal proceedings concluded with vote of thanks by Tyro Secretary, Puja Karakoti.
However, Day-1 wrapped up with exciting events like Solo & Duet Dance, Mime, Rangoli Making, Solo Singing, Mehendika, Ace of Mandala, Pirate Hunt, Treasure Hunt, Rap Battle, Multi-scene, Doodle Art, Shabd-e-Shayarana, Sketching, Zest Got Talent & more.
