The 70th Republic Day was celebrated in all its solemnity and grandeur at SRMSCET&R, Bareilly on 26th January 2019. The gathering for flag hosting ceremony was blessed by the presence of our Honb’le Chairman Shri Dev Murti Ji, Trust Administrator Er. Subhash Mehra, Dean Academics Prof. (Dr.) Prabhakar Gupta and Dean Student Welfare Er. Shailesh Saxena. The program started with flag hosting by Chairman Sir followed by a National Anthem ‘Jan Gan Man’ sung by the choir. The students saluted the National Flag and pledged themselves to upholding the honour and integrity of our country. The choir presented the patriotic song “Jaha Daal Daal Par”.
Dean Academics distributed the scholarship to the meritorious students for their academic performance. Ankur Dwivedi & Apoorv Saxena, Students of B.Tech Third Year received the Letter of Appreciation for conducting the workshop on ‘Android App Development’ & Seminar on ‘Cloud Computing’ respectively. He also highlighted about significance of this day. Bharat Shakya, Student of B.Tech First Year sang a patriotic song to boost up the national spirit of the audience, then Honb’le Chairman of the Trust enlightened the gathering. At the end, VERVE President, Rajat Gupta presented the Vote of Thanks. The students dispersed after chocolate distribution with the image of the fluttering tricolor in their minds.
