Shri Ram Murti Smarak (SRMS) Trust in collaboration with Uttar Pradesh Sangeet Natak Akademi (UPSNA), Lucknow, Department of Culture, UP & Bhatkhande Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya(BSVV), Lucknow is organising ‘ कजरीमहोत्सव 2024’— a vibrant cultural celebration of monsoon seasonon October 1, 2024 from 04:30 PM onwards at SRMS Riddhima—A Centre of Performing & Fine Arts, Bareilly. This event is going to be a showcase of Indian folk music, particularly Kajri—a melodious expression of marital love.
The ‘mahotsav’ is going to witness renowned vocalists, instrumentalists & kathak dancers, which shall be performed by singer, Astha Goswami from Vrindavan, flutist Ajay Prasanna from Prayagraj / New Delhi, vocalist Pandit Bholanath Mishra from Hariharpur / New Delhi, and kathak dancer Professor Bhavana Grover from Meerut.
