Shri Ram Murti Smarak (SRMS) Institutions Bareilly and SRMS Tyro Club presented the much-awaited cultural extravaganza—ZEST 2022 on the theme ‘Parivartan—Ek Chakra’ on November 18-19, 2022 at SRMS CET, Bareilly.
One of the iconic events was ‘Street Play’ organized by Dramatics Club on the theme ‘Prarambh—Anth Hi Aarambh’, wherein 8 teams participated to the hilt, and showcased their creativity with purposeful acting and emotions. It was a visual treat to see participants expressing their bold voice through this medium. The participating teams were SRMS CET (EC), SRMS CET (CS), SRMS IPS, SRMS CET (ME), SRMS CET (EN) and SRMS CET (IT) respectively, who enacted some powerful and thought-provoking topics related to Delhi Riots 1984, Muzaffarnagar Riots, Rape, Gender Inequality, Dowry System, Drunken Driving, Acid Attack, Transgender, Women Empowerment, Eve Teasing, Mental Health etc, which were the eye-openers for the audience, and received huge round of applause from everyone. In the end, the deserving winners were felicitated by Shri Dev Murti, Chairman SRMS Trust, Bareilly wherein SRMS IBS, Unnao grabbed the first prize, SRMS CET (IT) stood second while SRMS CET (ME) got third prize.
