BUILDING TRUST IN AI: A THOUGHTFUL CONVERSATION FOR THE FUTURE OF EDUCATION…

The Department of Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) at SRMS College of Engineering, Technology & Research (CETR), Bareilly, in collaboration with Value Addition Cell and under the guidance of IIC–SRMS CET & R, organized a Trust-Level One-Day Seminar on ‘Safe & Trusted AI in Higher Education Institutions’, which sparked meaningful conversations around the ethical, responsible, and secure use of Artificial Intelligence in higher education.

The programme began with an inspiring welcome and keynote address by Dr Manvi Mishra, HOD, CSE, followed by ceremonial lamp lighting, and insightful presentations by more than 10 student teams, each supported by real-world examples and practical perspectives on trusted AI. What truly stood out was the interactive energy of the participants, engaging in discussions and Q & A, making it a collaborative learning experience rather than a one-way seminar.

Students from across the SRMS Trust institutions, including SRMS CET & R, SRMS IMS, SRMS IPS, and SRMS College of Nursing came together, reflecting the shared commitment towards responsible technology adoption.

The event concluded with a prize distribution ceremony, celebrating the winners for their analytical thinking, innovation, and effective presentation skills. Diva & Taashifa (SRMS CET & R) bagged the first position, while Gitika Sharma & Bhuvi Jain (SRMS IMS), and Vedika Chaudhary & Kripa Thomas (SRMS College of Nursing) stood second and third, respectively. The seminar was evaluated by an esteemed panel of judges, including Dr Manvi Mishra Anamika (Assistant Professor, College of Nursing), and Shashwat Sharma (Assistant Professor, BHMCT).
