ONE EARTH, ONE HEALTH, ONE BREATH: SRMS ENGINEERING & RESEARCH COLLEGE MARKS INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY WITH HOLISTIC WELLNESS
When the world slows down and breath becomes intention, wellness finds its way in.
SRMS College of Engineering, Technology & Research (CETR), Bareilly came together today (June 21) on International Day of Yoga not just to stretch muscles, but to stretch mindsets—embracing this year’s global theme ‘Yoga for One Earth, One Health’.
Driven by the Yoga Sangam initiative from the Ministry of Ayush, the celebration was a vibrant reminder that personal health and planetary well-being are deeply intertwined. The morning kicked off with an insightful talk by Renu Bora, Sports & Yoga Instructor, who highlighted the science-backed benefits of yoga and how its regular practice can ground, energize, and heal.
Students Devaansh Maurya and Vaibhav Pandey took center stage to demonstrate powerful asanas, inspiring peers to connect movement with mindfulness. Guided warm-ups and postures followed, creating a space where calm met clarity.
Faculty members like Pradeep Kumar (CSE Department), Dr Bhoopendra Yadav (Basic Science Department) and others actively participated, echoing the campus-wide belief that well-being isn’t a trend—it’s a lifestyle.
From breath to balance, SRMS CETR’s Yoga Day wasn’t just a celebration; it was a conscious step towards a healthier self, and a healthier planet.
