SRMS College of Engineering, Technology and Research (CET&R) Bareilly recently organized a fun-filled activity titled ‘Guess it and Sing it’ for its students at the mini-auditorium of SRMS CET&R as a part of the ‘Zero Hour Activity’ period, wherein the RAAGA Club under the Student’s Welfare Club the ‘VERVE’ conducted the event. This activity was aimed at engaging students in a lighthearted and enjoyable experience while providing them with a break from their studies.
The event kick-started in the presence of Dr LS Maurya Principal SRMS CET&R; Dr Rajeev Kumar Pandey, Chief Proctor and Er Ankit Khandelwal, DSW along with all the faculty members and students. It was a team event, wherein students were supposed to guess the song’s screenshot displayed on the screen, and then sing that song if guessed correctly. A total of 32 students comprised in 8 teams actively participated in the event, wherein two teams were declared as the winners of the competition. Later, the first-year students who bagged the first position namely Ansh Chauhan, Abhay Tiwari, Keshav, Ritam Jauhri and Priyanshu, along with third-year students who remained the runners-up including Divya, Archana, Shruti and Nancy, were adjudged as winners.
The event was a great success as it provided students with an opportunity to showcase their singing skills and also allowed them to enjoy the experience of listening to their peers. The atmosphere was lively and energetic, with students cheering and clapping for each other. Apart from the entertainment factor, the activity also helped to build confidence and foster a sense of community among the participants.
