To realize Gandhiji’s dream of Clean India by 2019 (the 150th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi), Shri Ram Murti Smarak College of Engineering and Technology (Pharmacy) launched a special cleanliness drive, ‘Swachhta Rally’, on 8 September 2017 with the subject ‘Clean and Green India’. The mission focuses on participation from all sections of society to bring about mass awareness and a lasting behavioural change to achieve this goal.
The broad plan of action:
In the course of the rally organized at Village Prahaladpur, students shared their views on Swachh Bharat Abhiyan with villagers. They also created awareness on the importance of cleanliness by organizing a ‘Nukkad Natak’.
The rally departed after the green signal given by Trust Administrator Er. Subhash Mehra. On this occasion Professor (Dr.) Prabhakar Gupta (Dean, Academic) and Dr. Lalit Singh (Director, Pharmacy) were also present. The rally was conducted under the supervision of Mr. Ritesh Kumar Tiwari and Mrs. Isha Mishra.
