DAY 1 WAS A VIBE; DAY 2 IS ONGOING IN THUNDER: SPANDAN 2026 at SRMS ENGINEEERING & RESEARCH COLLEGE

If Day 1 felt like a movie… Day 2 is about to be the climax…

SPANDAN 2026, the cultural fest of SRMS Trust Institutions, organized by SRMS College of Engineering, Technology and Research (CET&R) and College of Nursing didn’t just begin; it exploded into life. From the very first spotlight to the loudest cheers, the campus turned into a full-blown celebration of talent, energy, and moments you just didn’t want to end.

With the theme “Utsarga: where heart performs & soul offers,” every performance felt personal. The opening ceremony set it off just right, with the presence of Aditya Murti (Secretary, SRMS Trust); Dr Prabhakar Gupta (Principal, SRMS CET); Dr Shailesh Saxena (Dean Academics, SRMS CETR); Dr Muthu Maheshwari (Principal, Nursing College); Dr Jaspreet Kaur (Principal, SRMS IAHS); Dr Anuj Kumar (Director, TDP Cell) and Devisha Murti.

And then… the stage took over. From solo singing that gave goosebumps to dance performances that owned the floor, the energy kept climbing. Simranjeet Kaur (Secretary, Caring Hands Club) kicked things off with a warm welcome, and Vaibhav Pandey (Secretary, Verve Club) wrapped it up. The Art Gallery opened; Street Plays got everyone hooked; Band-o-Mania brought the noise; Rangoli, Face-Off, Spark & Sprout added colour everywhere; Media Canvas caught all the chaos & the Fashion Show was a total show-stealer.

Well, this was just Day 1 & Day 2 is going on in louder, wilder, and straight-up thunder!
