First Session
Triumph 2022, a four-day orientation program for MBA+PGP batch started on Wednesday, 12th October with Prof. Shyamal Gupta, Director SRMSIBS welcoming the new batch. Students were full of enthusiasm, aspirations and confidence for their new journey. Prof. Gupta spoke about the new beginning they are making and encouraged them to make the most of their 2 years with SRMSIBS. He showcased how the institute, with its academic vigor, infrastructure facilities and other student centered processes is the right platform for management learning and corporate career.
All the faculties introduced themselves to the students and assured them of support and exciting learning ahead.
Second Session: The Team
Team building and leadership skills are of paramount importance for the success of corporate professional. 2nd session of Triumph 2022 “The Team” was designed keeping these two traits in mind. The session started with network building exercise with core message of taking initiative in life. In 2nd management game “Tie the knot” students learned about quick decision making during stressful situation. In “Relay race with twist” they experienced the various aspects of coordination in team. In the last game “blind folded” students were trained to trust each other in time of crisis.
Third Session: Breaking the Plateau
The third session “Breaking the Plateau” delved on how to break the plateau’s that are created in our professional and social life. It was based on the popular concept of an S shaped learning curve. The students learned about the S curve and how great and successful people break the plateau and move to higher level of performance. The session ended with the discussion on the strategies to break the plateau.
