SRMS College of Nursing organized a farewell bash of 2018 batch on November 26, 2022 at main auditorium, SRMS CET&R.
The farewell party kicked off with the welcoming of seniors, dignitaries as well as faculty members of Nursing and CETR by applying a ‘tilak’ by 2019 batch students. This was followed by ceremonial lamp lighting by dignitaries and Saraswati Vandana.
A welcome dance by Nishtha Chauhan of batch 2019 on Ganesh Vandana was admired by all. This was followed by several fun-filled games organized for seniors in three rounds by Himanshi Baliyan and Bhawna Joshi of batch 2019. Thereafter, solo singing by Amisha; solo dance by Anshika and Amneet Kaur; skit; duet dance by Nishtha Singh Chauhan-Anshika Saxena & Vartika-Jyoti, and group dance by the batch of 2019 students like Jyoti, Risha, Divyanshi, Himanshi, Madhvi, Maya, Anamika, Saumya, Priya, Bhawana, Shikha, Riya, Amisha and Veronica were loved by all.
Ramp walk by seniors was the highlight of the day, and after several rounds of judgment, Saumya Girish and Simranjeet Kaur were adjudged as Mr and Miss Farewell.
During the bash, seniors discussed about their experiences, which was quite a nostalgic moment for everyone. Memories of old school days were recalled through a video presentation. Later, future guidance was given by Professor Rintu Chaturvedi, Principal and Aneesh Chandran, Vice Principal, whereas vote of thanks was given by Riya Verma (batch 2019). The event ended on a happy note with a high-tea. The Masters of Ceremony were Lalit Gangwar and Priya Sahani (batch 2019).
