A student mentor’s role may be perceived to be facilitative, supportive and developmental for the student community in general and the first year students in particular.
The orientation program began on 15 Nov 2021 with the welcome of the students.
Day-1
Dr Anuj kumar, Director TDP & Placement Cell, illuminated the students about importance of Happiness in their life. Dr. Ashwanii Dwivedi explained in detail about the Essence of Law in a Welfare State. Ms. Sushma Sagar enlightened the students about the Professional ethics. Mr. Rajesh Gupta presented a brief on Mooting. Next up was the extracurricular activity featured as Yoga coordinated by Ms. Renu bora.
Day-2
The second day of the orientation program was started by Dr. Anuradaha yadav, Academic coordinator enlightened the students by giving explanation on Fundamental rights. Dr Ashok kumar explained in detail about the Indian Civilization & Heritage. Ms. Shivani Gupta presented a brief over Emerging dimensions of digital World. Extempore was conducted in supervision of. Mr Lakhendra kr. Chhokar. Next up was the Campus visit coordinated by Dr. Ashok kumar.
Day-3
The third day of the orientation program was started by brief presentation of Ms. Ruchie Shah about the introduction of SRMS Trust, followed by Session of Dr. KK Agrawal on the topic role of values in education system. Career opportunities in the field of law were discussed by Mr Lakhendra kr. Chhokar. Next, informatory Personality development session was conducted by Ms. Aarti Tiwari.
Day-4
The fourth day of the orientation program was started by Enlightened the students regarding selection of books, journals & law reports. Dr. Rashmi Yadav enlightened the students by giving explanation on Society as an instrument of social change. Mr Rajesh Gupta presented the lecture on new dimensions of contract law- standard forms of contract & e contract. Day summed with conducting of Ice breaking activities.
Day-5
The fifth day of the orientation program was started by Motivational Speech of Dr. Prabhakar Gupta, Dean Academics, Mr. Prasson Trivedi explained the views on role of L:aw & functions of Lawyer.Dr. MBL Sharma enlightened the students about course curriculum. Day summed up with extracurricular activities.
