SRMS College Of Law Celebrated the Indian Constitution Day on 26 Nov 2021, in the memory & 131 Birth anniversary of Father of Indian Constitution Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, who had chaired the drafting committee of the Constituent Assemble and played a pivotal role in the drafting of the Constitution.

The Students and Faculties of College of law with the motive to spread the knowledge of constitution & law has organized this event under the grace and guidance of Hon’ble Chairman SRMS Trust Sri Dev Murti.

The Program Started by lighting a lamp in from of Maa Saraswati by the dignitaries with this the College choir sung the Saraswati Vandana. After this the Student Conveners Mr. Paras Pradhan (LL.B. Final year) & Ms. Prerna Jain (B.A.LL.B. 5th semester) Presented sapling to Sri Dev Murti (Chairman SRMS Trust) and Mr. Aditya Murti (Trust Secretary).

Dr. Anuradha Yadav, Academic Co-coordinator, SRMS College of Law gave the inaugural speech. Mr. Aditya Murti then graced the occasion with his words and launched the book “Euthanasia”.

The students of SRMS College of Law performed a skit on the following themes: Equal pay for equal work Consumer Protection Harassment at work place

The event also constitutes Competitions such as Debate & Quiz for all the students of SRMS for interactive and fruitful learning. Students from different colleges and departments participated.

The topic of the debate was “law rules the poor, rich rules the law”. In favor of the topic first position was secured by Miss Amisha (B.Tech) and third by Mr. Sagar Pandey (B.Tech). The first, second and third Position in against of the topic was hold by Arun kumar (MBA), Ayushman Verma (Law), Shwetank Saurabh (MBA) respectively.

The theme of the quiz was the basics of Indian Constitution. The team from MCA came our as Winner. The winners were

rewarded by Chairman Sir and after the Prize distribution he blessed the students with his words.

The program came to its end with Vote of Thanks by Mr. Rajesh Gupta (Faculty convener) and National Anthem.
