The exciting two-day cultural extravaganza —‘ZEST 2023’ (December 1-2, 2023), organized by Shri Ram Murti Smarak (SRMS) Trust Institutions in collaboration with Tyro Club of SRMS College of Engineering & Technology (CET), Bareilly on the theme Parakram —वृद्धि उपनिधि kicked off with great enthusiasm. The highlights of the two day fest were Battle of Bands, Street Play, Group Dance, Renaissance, Voice of Zest, Face-Off, Star Night, Alumni Meet & many more.
The DAY-1 witnessed grand inaugural by Shri Dev Murti, Chairman SRMS Trust & Chief Patron wherein he declared the fest open & also inaugurated the Fine Arts Gallery & Informal Pandal with the theme ‘Avengers: The Marvel Universe’ and ‘Disney’ respectively in the presence of Aditya Murti, Trust Secretary & Patron; Richa Murti, Trustee ; Er Subhash Mehra, Trust Advisor; Dr Prabhakar Gupta, Dean Academics; Dr LS Maurya, Principal CETR; Air Marshal Dr MS Butola, Principal IMS; Aneesh Chandran, Vice Principal, SRMS College of Nursing ; Dr Jaspreet Kaur, Principal IPS; Dr Anuj Kumar, Director TDP Cell; Dr Arti Gupta, Director Pharmacy; Dr Jitendra Singh Yadav, Chief Proctor; Dr Sovan Mohanty, DSW & several others. Later, Shri Dev Murti appreciated the efforts of Tyro club team for their hard work and significant role in the Zest preparations. Soon after, students rocked the stage with captivating dance and musical performances along with patriotic mime.
The FIRST DAY of the fest unfolded with an array of engaging events like Duet Dance, Rangoli Making, Mime, Guess Me: Actor’s Cut, Mehendika, Solo Singing, Treasure Hunt, Mono Act, Best Out of Waste, Solo Dance, Ace of Mandala, Be The Pirates of Caribbean, Rap Battle, Multi-scene, Doodle Art, Mimicry of Nerves, Quill with Skill, Shayrana Andaaz, Sketching & Zest Got Talent. The Major Highlights of DAY-1 were Battle of Bands, Face-Off, Renaissance-A Fashion Show & Alumni Meet.
The Day 1 concluded with great joy, setting the stage for the anticipation of upcoming events on the final day of this grand cultural fest.
