The two-day grand cultural extravaganza — ‘ZEST 2023’ based on theme Parakram —वृद्धि उपनिधि, organized by Shri Ram Murti Smarak (SRMS) Trust Institutions in collaboration with Tyro Club of SRMS College of Engineering & Technology (CET), Bareilly on December 1-2, 2023 was a mesmerizing spectacle, wherein, on its DAY-2, students showcased their skills & creativity in a myriad of engaging events. Open for the students of B Tech, B Pharm, MCA, MBA, MBBS, Paramedical, Nursing, M Tech, M Pharm & LLB, the annual fest motivated the students to go beyond their imagination.
The second day unfolded with diverse array of thrilling events such as Gratis (Hand Free Paintings), Situational Antakshari, KBC: Kaun Banega Champion, Duet Singing, Instrumental, Origami, Stand Up Dialogues, Fictional Sketching, 3D Sculpting, Short Play, Best Dancer, Movie Spoof & the groovy Star Night. Adding an extra layer of fun & frolic, a gala Prize Distribution ceremony was also held toward the end of ZEST that honored the winners.
The prominent highlights of Day-2 were Street Play, Voice of Zest, Group Dance & Star Night. However, a thought-provoking Street Play revolved around the theme 'Udbhav- The Origin,' which delivered compelling narratives on social issues. On the other hand, Voice of Zest added vibrancy to the event through soul-stirring performances. Meanwhile the Group Dance, a harmonious blend of choreography and artistic expressions, elaborated on the theme 'Parakram: Andekhi Gaathaen,' which left the audience in awe. As the day culminated with heart-throbbing Star Night, featuring live performances by the Band — ‘Rocknaama’, it mesmerized the crowd with its sparkling stage-presence, which compelled everyone at the venue to shake a leg.
