The SRMS Engineering College campus came alive as alumni from B Tech (1996–2000), PGDM & PGDHM (1998–2000), and Pharmacy (2000–04) reunited to celebrate 25 memorable years of friendships and shared beginnings. What began as a reunion soon turned into one of the most grand, emotional, and unforgettable events of the year.
DAY-1 | WHERE TIME STOOD STILL
At the scenic Alaknanda Resort, SRMS, alumni gathered from across India, reliving hostel stories and singing timeless favourites like Hum Rahe Ya Na Rahe Kal and Purani Jeans Aur Guitar. The Silver Jubilee cake-cutting marked 25 years of resilience, dreams, and enduring bonds. Music, great food, coffee by bonfires, and endless conversations kept spirits high till 2 AM.
DAY-2 | GRATITUDE & GROWTH
The day began with a visit to the college temple and a walk through the evolving campus. At the Centennial Auditorium, junior performances bridged generations, while reunions with teachers turned emotional, reaffirming timeless bonds. Alumni shared songs, poems, life lessons, and success stories shaped by SRMS. A proud moment came when Ms Payal, Senior Scientist, ISRO and Chandrayaan Moon Lander team member, said, “You name the place, and you will find an SRMSian there.” Adding to the emotion, Ms Pooja Srivastava, Associate Director, ISRO, presented a Chandrayaan memento to Chairman, Shri Dev Murti, expressing gratitude to SRMS.
The reunion concluded with a lunch alongside Shri Dev Murti. Alumni departed with Silver Jubilee goodie bags from Punara, Suvas, and Victus Wellness, and a commemorative hoodie.
Because no matter how many years pass; Once an SRMSian, Always an SRMSian!
