Shri Ram Murti Smarak (SRMS) Trust Institutions namely SRMS College of Engineering & Technology (CET), SRMS CET (Pharmacy), SRMS College of Engineering, Technology & Research (SRMS CETR), SRMS College of Nursing, SRMS Institute of Medical Sciences(SRMS IMS) & SRMS Institute of Paramedical Sciences (SRMS IPS) Bareilly marked the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi with a mesmerizing group dance competition, witnessing the enthusiastic participation of 8 teams from different colleges of SRMS Trust.
The competition began with a vibrant welcome dance, followed by enthusiastic group dance, setting an energetic tone for the day. Shri Dev Murti, Chairman SRMS Trust, initiated the competition by drawing chits from a bowl, signalling the commencement of the event. This was followed by a series of devotional dance performances, wherein, each team showcased unique interpretation with creative choreographies inspired by the essence of Ganesh Chaturthi festival.
Later, the winning teams were awarded for their synchronized moves & engaging choreography, which left a lasting impression on judges as well as the audience. However, SRMS IPS clinched first prize, while SRMS IMS & SRMS CET grabbed second & third prize respectively.
Earlier, the event was inaugurated by Aditya Murti, Trust Secretary; Asha Murti & Usha Gupta, the Trustees, in the presence of Dr Prabhakar Gupta, Principal, SRMS CET; Dr LS Maurya, Principal CETR; Dr Muthu Maheshwari, Principal Nursing; Dr Jaspreet Kaur, Principal IPS; Air Marshal Dr MS Butola, Principal SRMS IMS; Dr Shailendra Deva, Vice Principal CET; Dr Anuj Kumar, Director TDP Cell; Dr Arti Gupta, , Director Pharmacy; Professor Dr Jitendra Singh Yadav, Chief Proctor; Aneesh Chandran, Vice Principal Nursing & several others.
