To promote an environment for interdisciplinary research & development, SRMS Trust Institutions recently organized a Symposium on ‘Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare’ at SRMS Institute of Medical Sciences (SRMS IMS), Bareilly , which saw participation of 5 teams comprising of faculty members (team leaders) & students from SRMS Trust Institutions, Bareilly namely SRMS IMS; SRMS College of Engineering & Technology (CET) ; SRMS College of Engineering, Technology & Research (CETR) ; SRMS Institute of Paramedical Sciences (IPS) & SRMS College of Nursing .
The symposium was inaugurated by Shri Dev Murti , Chairman SRMS Trust & Aditya Murti , Director Administration in the presence of Er Subhash Mehra, Trust Advisor; Dr MS Butola , Principal IMS; Dr Prabhakar Gupta , Principal CET; Dr Shailesh Saxena , Dean Academics, CETR; Dr Jaspreet Kaur , Principal IPS; Dr Muthu Maheshwari , Principal, Nursing College etc.
During the symposium, each team showcased their AI-driven healthcare innovations. Dr Kranthi Kumar (DSW, IMS) and his team presented ‘Role of AI in Healthcare: Rakshak-Ambulance and Hospital Services.’Dr Amit Kumar Rana (Associate Professor, ENT, IMS) and his team introduced ‘OTOVISTA: The Future of Ear Health’. Dr Manvi Mishra (HOD, CSE, CETR) and her team discussed ‘Asthma: Womb to Wellness’. Dr Sovan Mohanty (HOD, ECE, CET) and his team explored ‘Design & Development of an AI-Powered Risk Assessment & Early Cancer Detection System.’ Lastly, Dr Rahul Kumar Goyal (HOD, Microbiology, IMS) and his team delivered a presentation on ‘Antibiotic Resistance.’ Towards the end, Aditya Murti felicitated the teams with certificate of appreciation.
