SRMS Trust Institutions, Bareilly, proudly organised it’s 24TH CONVOCATION, honoring 247 graduates of ‘Class of 2024’ from various disciplines, including B Tech (CS, IT, EC, EE, ME), B Pharm, MBA, MCA, M Tech & M Pharm from SRMS College of Engineering & Technology (CET) and B Tech (CS) from SRMS College of Engineering, Technology & Research (CETR).
The ceremony commenced with the grand academic procession, led by dignitaries, followed by the lamp-lighting ritual. Among the esteemed guests were Shri Dev Murti, Chairman SRMS Trust; Aditya Murti, Trust Secretary; Presiding Officer, Prof DrJai Prakash Pandey, Hon’ble VC, Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow; Chief Guest Amitabh Tewari, Delivery Centre Head at TCS, Lucknow; and Guest of Honour Er Kushwaha Manish Kaushal, Director of Data Engineering at McAfee Inc., Bengaluru, among many others.
Shri Dev Murti extended a warm welcome, while Dr Prabhakar Gupta, Principal, CET presented annual report & achievements of Engineering Institutions. Prof Dr Jai Prakash Pandey officially declared the convocation ‘Open,’ & Amitabh Tewari delivered an inspiring convocation address. Er Kushwaha Manish Kaushal, an SRMS alumnus, motivated graduates with his insightful speech.
Thereafter, everyone witnessed the defining moment where degrees were awarded to 2024 Pass Out. Later, Shri Dev Murti awarded medals & cash prizes to meritorious students. Scholarships of Rs 11,33,000 under ‘SRMS Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme’(from economically weaker sections-EWS) were granted to 8 deserving students across SRMS Trust Institutions. The event concluded with declaration of convocation ‘Close’ by Dr Jai Prakash along with vote of thanks by Dr Shailendra Deva, Vice Principal, CET, marking yet another milestone in SRMS’s legacy of academic excellence.
