YOUNG VOICES, BOLD IDEAS: SRMS TRUST STUDENTS DEBATE FAILURE & ENTREPRENEURSHIP!

The Department of Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) at SRMS College of Engineering, Technology & Research (CETR), Bareilly, in association with the Institution Innovation Council (IIC), hosted a Trust-level Elocution Competition on the thought-provoking topic “Is Failure Essential for Entrepreneurial Growth?”
Students from SRMS CETR, SRMS College of Engineering & Technology (CET), SRMS College of Nursing, and SRMS Institute of Medical Sciences (IMS) showcased their brilliance, presenting powerful arguments for and against the motion with their fearless voices and fresh ideas. From emphasizing failure as a stepping stone to success, to stressing the role of strategy in avoiding it, the competition was a masterclass in confidence, clarity, and conviction. In the ‘For the Motion’ category, MBA (CET) secured 1st place, IMS 2nd, and Nursing 3rd, while in the ‘Against the Motion’ category, IMS bagged 1st place and CET claimed both 2nd & 3rd positions.”
The event concluded with winners being felicitated by Dr Shailesh Saxena, Dean Academics, in the presence of KK Agarwal, DSW, and other dignitaries. The esteemed jury included Ruchie Sah (Assistant Professor, Basic Science), Deepak Batra & Akansha Johri (Assistant Professors, Management, CETR).
