Within this perspective on November 19, 2016, Shri Ram Murti Smarak International Business School, Lucknow and Faculty of Management Sciences, SRMS CET, Bareilly is organized a one day, 3rd national conference on “Managing the Next Generation Organisation”. The august gathering was welcomed by Prof. Shyamal Gupta, Director SRMS IBS, Mr. Kumar Lalit, General Manager HR, IR and Administration Tata Motors Ltd. presided the conference as a Chief Guest. He gave an overwhelming talk on the key issues which have emerged over the decade like impact of social media, increase in number of urban dwellers and how India’s is progressing towards becoming the next economic super power.
Prof.(Dr.) Madhurima Lall, HOD Department of Applied Economics, Lucknow University presided the conference in capacity of Special Guest deliberated her views on demonetization and concentration on factor reforms. She emphasized the need for sustainability of demonetization.
Prof. (Dr.) Sanjay Medhavi, Head of Department, Department of Business Administration of Lucknow University as a special guest gave an overwhelming presentation on how the next generation organization have emerged. He talked about the evolution of a production era, countertrade era, information era and finally the mass customization era. He talked about learning organization, flexibility, competition within ourselves and virtues of future organization.
Shri Dev Murti Chairman, SRMS Trust shared his thoughts on Managing the Next Generation Organisation. He also mentioned the various initiatives taken by SRMS Trust like Mobile Hospital and operation of Cataract at subsidized rates. He enlightened the audience with the various initiatives taken by SRMS Trust. It was followed by the release of Conference Proceedings of the 3rd National Conference which was a culmination of twenty one articles contributed by researchers and academicians pan India.
The technical sessions were chaired by Prof. (Dr.) A.K. Bajpai, Professor SRMS CET, Unnao and Prof.(Dr.) R.P. Singh Professor, Department of Environmental Science, Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University.
Prof.(Dr.) Ekta Rastogi was the Convener for the conference. The conference was well attended by over 100 delegates, from Department of Business Administration, Aligarh Muslim University, School of Management Sciences, IMS Unison University, Dehradun, T.M.B.U Bhagalpur Faculty of Management Studies, BHU, GLA Mathura, Department of Commerce and Business Management, Lucknow University, Ranchi University and Amity University, All the presentations and deliberations made in the conference were quite informative, interesting and thought stimulating.
