As Team India took giant strides towards the coveted silverware (ICC World Cup Trophy), The Cinemaniacs – Movie Club@SRMS IBS continued making waves with its ‘Campaign Blue’ through events of substance and flair. One such event, ‘The Cricket Quiz’, in line with an earlier quiz conducted, was organised by the club on 28th October, 2023 with the broader aim of bringing faculty and students together to showcase support for the ‘Men In Blue’. Like last time, the event met with good response from students across courses.
The quiz was conducted through the Google Form and had questions exclusively on Cricket. It was concurrently circulated and taken by both faculty and students. With apparent excitement and enthusiasm, the quiz generated quite a buzz and found a deep connect with the support cause for Team India as they marched on towards glory.
Winners were duly awarded in each category and the event was successful in engaging one and all for Team India’s support. With an array of events lined up, ‘Campaign Blue’ is nicely poised to garner large support base for Team India and if the response for the quiz served as an indicator, the Campaign is sure to be a big draw.
