Believing in the quote above SRMSIBS conducted Fashion Show Contest “Style & Sync” on 12.3.2024. at the SRMS International Business School Auditorium. Hosted by the “Hunar” Cultural Club and “Mudra” Dance Club, this event promises a fusion of elegance and energy.
The grand opening of the event was done by the Master of Ceremony and was followed by the lightening of the lamp by the faculty coordinators of the Cultural and the Dance Club Dr. Raj Kumar Srivastava, Dr. Suruchi Tripathi, Mr. Rahul Sharma, Ms. Sanobar Fatima, Mr.Harshit Singh and Ms. Shipra Sharma .It was followed by Sansthan Geet by the students of BBA 1st and 2nd Year then Ganesh Vandana Dance was performed by the BBA 3rd year students.
The first part of the event was the Fashion Show .It had three rounds of Ramp Walk, The Ethnic Round, The Bollywood/Street Wear Round and the Dress out of Waste Round. The students flaunted with vibrant colored Traditional Dresses in the first round depicting that each culture is distinct and has its own charm.
The second round was Bollywood/Street Wear Round. The students had to choose some bollywood character to be imbibed and had to be dressed up like the character chosen. The students actively participated in the round and justified the characters being imitated.
The third round was the unique one driving the creativity of the students. The costume of the model doing the ramp walk had to be prepared with the waste materials. The theme uses the waste materials which can be recycled and could be drawn into fabrics.
The next was the” Questions and Answers” Round of the participants qualified from the Ramp Walk.

The spotlight then shifted to the Dance Floor as the second part of the event was the Dance Show.
The show started with the mesmerizing performance by the Dance Club members with eye-catching light effects .There were three rounds in the event .The performers showcased their talent in solo, duet, and group dance categories.
As the event came to an end, everybody joined in celebrating the winners during the prize distribution ceremony. A heartfelt vote of thanks was followed, expressing our gratitude to all participants, sponsors, and attendees for making Style n Sync a memorable event.
