MJP Rohilkhand University, Bareilly organized an Intercollegiate Volleyball Tournament 2022-23 at KGK (PG) College Moradabad UP on November 09, 2022, wherein the event was inaugurated by the Principal, KGK (PG) College Moradabad and Organizing Secretary Dr Navin Kumar Pandey.
The Intercollegiate Volleyball Tournament witnessed the participation of six teams, including a team of 11 players from SRMS College of Nursing, Bareilly. The participating players from SRMS College of Nursing, Bareilly were Shikha Kumari (B Sc 3rd year), Nishtha Chauhan (B Sc 3rd year), Iram Khan (B Sc 3rd year), Nisha Sharma (B Sc 2nd year), Harneet Kaur (B Sc 2nd year), Rashmi Singh (B Sc 2nd year), Navneet Kaur (B Sc 2nd year), Annapurna (B Sc 2nd year), Amarpreet Kaur (BSc 2nd year), Navneet Kaur (B Sc 2nd year), and Komal (B Sc 4th year).
After the registrations and verification, the Volleyball Competition kicked-off, and the first round took place between the teams of SRMS Nursing College, Bareilly and SSG College of Nursing. SRMS Nursing College team played so well and later faced against the Bareilly College. After the semi final and final rounds, Sports Secretary announced the event results, and SRMS College of Nursing, Bareilly fetched 3rd position in Intercollegiate Volleyball Competition. After the open trail, two students Shikha Kumari (B Sc 3rd year) and Nisha Sharma (B Sc 2nd year), of SRMS Nursing College were selected for next level—State Level Volleyball Competition.
