SRMS IBS gave a heartfelt tribute to eminent Freedom Fighter, Parliamentarian, Minister, and Revered Son of Maa Bharati, Hon. Late Shri Ram Murti Ji on the occasion of his 35 th Punya Tithi on 2nd October, 2023 .Since the day (2 nd October) also held significance in light of being the birth anniversaries of Rashtra Pita, Mahatma Gandhi Ji and Lal Bahadur Shastri Ji, these inspiring personalities were given moving tributes befitting the occasion.
The event started with hoisting of the tricolour by Respected Director, SRMS IBS, Prof. Shyamal Gupta.The proceedings then moved to the auditorium where Respected Director, SRMS IBS, Prof. Shyamal Gupta; Respected Dean, SRMS IBS, Prof. (Dr.) Manoj Pandey and all faculties and non-teaching staff of SRMS IBS, SRMS School and SRMS NPS paid rich tributes to the leaders of substance: Shri Ram Murti Ji, Mahatma Gandhi Ji, and Lal Bahadur Shastri Ji.
By singing Sansthaan Geet, students of SRMS School introduced the SRMS family in sweet musical form. Dr. Lalit Yadav (Faculty, SRMS IBS) enlightened everyone by reciting the inspiring life journey of Shri Ram Murti Ji. Various devotional songs (Bhajans) were performed by students of SRMS IBS, SRMS School and SRMS NPS that made the environment more peaceful and full of positivity. Scholarships to meritorious students were given by Respected Director, SRMS IBS, Prof. Shyamal Gupta. The tribute ended with the National Anthem and the distribution of prasad.
