Shri Ram Murti Smarak (SRMS) Trust Institutions Bareilly, in collaboration with Tyro Club of SRMS College of Engineering & Technology (CET) recently organized its two-day cultural extravaganza — ‘ZEST 2023’ on the theme Parakram —वृद्धि उपनिधि wherein ‘STREET PLAY’ was one of the major highlights. Centered around the theme ‘Udbhav: The Origin’, the play unfolded a captivating narrative on societal & political issues.
Nearly 8 teams participated including SRMS College of Nursing, Bareilly; SRMS CET (IT); SRMS IPS; SRMS CET (Tarang); SRMS CETR (Bari); SRMS CET (Lakshya); SRMS CET (ME) & SRMS IBS Unnao. Each team brought a unique flair to the stage, transforming the ambiance into a dynamic canvas of creative expression. With a time-limit of 15 minutes, the teams passionately depicted the play’s theme, addressed powerful & thought-provoking topics and infused the air with palpable enthusiasm and creative fervor. They covered issues such as politicians’ promises before elections, state of humanity in Kalyug, and several other impactful acts. As the event unfolded, it left an indelible mark on the audience, where every act resonated a masterpiece of artistic expression & community engagement.
However, the WINNERS of Street Play were Team Varchasv from SRMS CET, who received a cash prize of Rs 7000, followed by SRMS CET’s Team Anant on SECOND position with a cash prize of Rs 5000. Team Front Liners from SRMS Nursing grabbed THIRD position with a cash prize of Rs 3000.
