These days Robotics isn’t restricted to modern utilize but at the same time is sprawling its wings in different fields and we discover part of them as drones, humanoid robots, space robots, military robots, therapeutic robots etc. The days are not far when our shirts will likewise be composed by Robot. Indeed, even robots will be utilized to diagnose diseases.
Therefore to instill the technicality of Robotics in budding engineers, a hand-on workshop on Autonomous Robotics was organized by the Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering on 22 Feb 2018.
The Workshop was inaugurated at 9:30 am by Mrs. Richa Murti Madam, Trust Administrator Er. Subhash Mehra, Dean Academics Dr. Prabhakar Gupta, Er. Nazia Parveen (HOD EC), Head TDP cell Mr. Anuj Kumar, HODs of CET and CET&R etc.
In this workshop 20 groups from various trust establishments had taken part. During the workshop, a robotics kits was provided to each group and each group developed a LFR to follow a particular track depending upon the logic. The workshop comprised of two technical sessions. In the first session, concept of robotics, components to be used and logic tables were discussed.
In the second technical session, students developed their own robot which was to follow a particular track depending upon the logic.
During the closing ceremony, Chairman Shri Dev Murti inspired the students to be proactive in all such activities and develop sound understanding of technical concepts. He gave away the certificates and prizes to first, second and third winning teams with best bots.
