On account of 114th Birth Anniversary of Late Shri Ram Murti Ji, SHRI RAM MURTI SMARAK (SRMS) TRUST INSTITUTIONS organized its XXIII CONVOCATION with grandeur. MBA, MCA, M Tech, M Pharm, B Pharm, B Tech Alumni of Batch 2019-23 & Batch 2021-23 from SRMS CET & SRMS CETR, Bareilly were felicitated & conferred with degrees, medals & cash prizes for their academic achievements. However, 252 graduating & meritorious students were awarded degrees, while 22 alumni were felicitated with Gold/Silver/Bronze medals with cash prizes. Special prizes were also given for exceptional achievements in the field of sports, culture & all-round development.
The prestigious ceremony began with assembly of dignitaries & other participants of academic procession in the robing arena that marched further towards convocation hall. This was followed by lamp lightning by Shri Dev Murti, Chairman SRMS Trust; Presiding Officer, Professor Dr Jai Prakash Pandey, VC, Dr APJ AKTU, Lucknow; Guests of Honour, Er Mohammad Saif, Partner Power & Utilities, Ernst & Young, Gurugram & Er Nipun Kohli, Co-Founder, FinAGG Technologies Private Limited, Noida in the presence of Aditya Murti, Trust Secretary; Asha Murti ji, Trustee; Er Subhash Mehra, Trust Advisor; Dr Prabhakar Gupta, Dean Academics, CET; Dr LS Maurya, Principal CETR; Dr Anuj Kumar, Director TDP Cell; Dr Arti Gupta, Director Pharmacy; Dr Sovan Mohanty, DSW along with heads of various departments etc.
Shri Dev Murti delivered the welcome address, wherein Dr Prabhakar presented annual report & provided insights into institution’s achievements, milestones & initiatives. Thereafter, convocation was officially declared ‘Open’ by Professor Dr Jai Prakash Pandey, and convocation address was delivered by Er Mohammad Saif. Later, Er Nipun Kohli delivered an inspiring address.
Towards the end, Professor Dr Jai Prakash Pandey extended ‘Deeksha’ to degree recipients. Shri Dev Murti honored dignitaries with mementos as a token of appreciation, followed with a vote of thanks by Dr LS Maurya. Soon after, convocation was declared ‘Close’ by Professor Pandey & ended with National Anthem & gala lunch for all attendees.
