On account of World Cancer Day on February 4, RR Cancer Institute & Research Centre at Shri Ram Murti Smarak Institute of Medical Sciences (SRMS IMS), Bareilly is organizing a ‘SURVIVAL MEET’ at SRMS Alakhnanda Staff Club on February 4, 2023. The Survivors of Cancer, who were treated at SRMS IMS, and emerged as winners after battling their life against deadly disease, will be greeted and celebrated for their strength and perseverance on achieving this great milestone.
Once such #CancerSurvivor, Chanda Ansari, 50, from Pilibhit, who was diagnosed with cancer in the year 2010, is now living a cancer-free normal life, says, “My cancer got diagnosed in the year 2010, which was a life-changing moment for me and my family. Initially, I visited some of the hospitals here and there, and then I was told to visit SRMS Hospital, where I met Dr Piyush Kumar, who took my case. I must say that he was very supportive and respectful, and treated me with utmost care. I was cured through therapies, without any surgery. The staff at the hospital was very cooperative, and affectionate.”
Chanda Ansari’s husband, Mohd Aslam Ansari adds, “The way SRMS doctors and its staff took my wife’s cancer case, and the way they dealt with us and treated her showing great respect, was helpful enough to give us positivity and satisfaction. I am really thankful to them for all their efforts.”
