In a grand fusion of Rhythm and Energy, Shri Ram Murti Smarak (SRMS) Trust Institutions Bareilly, in collaboration with Tyro Club of SRMS College of Engineering & Technology (CET) recently unfolded its two-day cultural extravaganza — ‘ZEST 2023’ on the theme Parakram —वृद्धि उपनिधि. Stealing the limelight was the breathtaking ‘GROUP DANCE’ event, wherein students unleashed their boundless creativity on the theme ‘Parakram: Andekhi Gaathaen’.
Against a backdrop of groovy Punjabi beats and infectious Bollywood rhythms, students showcased astounding dance performances. The performers flawlessly danced their heart-out on foot-tapping numbers, leaving the audience in awe. The stage came alive with fusion performances, displaying a symphony of tradition and contemporary dance moves. The grandeur of ‘ZEST 2023’ reached its pinnacle with LED & Neon light dance performance, wherein students incorporated light as their props. However, the mesmerizing showcase of lights added a magical touch, creating an unforgettable experience.
Towards the end, the winners of Group Dance event were ‘Team Creed’ from SRMS CET, winning a cash prize of Rs 11,000, whereas ‘Team Zenith’ from SRMS CET stood second, receiving a cash prize of Rs 7500 and SRMS CETR’s ‘Team Pravaha’ bagged third position with a cash prize of Rs 4500. The consolation prize was bagged by ‘Team Rx’ from SRMS CET (Pharmacy).
