As a noble gesture in remembrance of Late Shri Ram Murti Ji, a veteran Freedom Fighter, Former Minister & Ex-Parliamentarian & on account of his 35th Shradhanjali Samaroh, a Scholarship Distribution Ceremony was organized on October 2, 2023 at Shri Ram Murti Smarak College of Engineering & Technology (SRMS CET), Bareilly. The grand ceremony witnessed distribution of scholarships worth Rs 3.5 crore to meritorious students (ranging from Rs 20,000-Rs 2,00,000) from diverse fields including B Tech (CS), MBBS, Paramedical & Nursing across all SRMS Trust Institutions.
The meritorious scorers from MBBS—I, II & III year (Professional) were Pradumn Agrawal & Sparsh Suri (2nd Professional, Batch 2020) and Radhika Gupta (1st Professional, Batch 2021) received a scholarship of Rs 2,00,000 each, while, Nikita Agarwal (Part II, Batch 2018) & Pallavi Goswami (Part I, Batch 2019) of 3rd Professional grabbed a scholarship of Rs 1,25,000 each. Sakshi Maurya (3rd Professional, Part-II, Batch 2018), Agam Agrawal (3rd Professional, Part-I, Batch 2019) & Diksha Aggarwal (1st Professional, Batch 2021) received a scholarship of Rs 1,00,000 each respectively.
From SRMS Institute of Paramedical Sciences, Susheel Kumar, a second-year BSc CT/MRI student, received scholarship worth ₹ 87000. Priyank Gupta, pursuing B Tech (CS), Batch 2020, from SRMS Engineering College grabbed a scholarship of ₹30,000, whereas, Sethu Lakshmi, M Sc Nursing, Batch 2021 & Rupinder Kaur, B Sc Nursing, Batch 2020 from SRMS Nursing College were awarded with scholarships of ₹ 30,000 each.
Overall, the ceremony was a tribute to Late Shri Ram Murti Ji & quite a memorable & motivational one,
not only for the scholarships’ recipients, but their parents and families too, present during the event.
