On account of World Cancer Day on February 4, RR Cancer Institute & Research Centre at Shri Ram Murti Smarak Institute of Medical Sciences (SRMS IMS), Bareilly is organizing a ‘SURVIVAL MEET’ at SRMS Alakhnanda Staff Club on February 4, 2023. The Survivors of Cancer, who were treated at SRMS IMS, and emerged as winners after battling their life against deadly disease, will be greeted and celebrated for their strength and perseverance on achieving this great milestone.
Once such #CancerSurvivor, Santosh Kumari, 56, from Subhashnagar, Bareilly, says, “I was diagnosed with breast cancer 8 years back. During my multiple visits to a couple of doctors here, I was told to visit SRMS Hospital for the best treatment of cancer. At SRMS Hospital, Onco-surgeon Dr Shubhanshu Gupta took up my case and performed the surgery. Later, Dr Piyush Kumar did all the scans, radiotherapies and chemotherapies. I received a lot of care, cooperation and support from the staff and doctors at SRMS Hospital that helped a lot in my recovery. I am glad that we made the right decision of going to SRMS for the cancer treatment.”
