SRMS Institute of Medical Sciences (IMS), Bareilly marked its 24th Foundation Day with a renewed commitment to healthcare. The day began with a tribute to Late Shri Ram Murti Ji and a Hawan led by Chairman Shri Dev Murti. A blood donation camp highlighted the spirit of giving, while a cake-cutting ceremony also celebrated Shri Dev Murti’s birthday. Visionary announcements & recognitions reflected SRMS’s values of service, education, and community care.
In his keynote, Chairman Shri Dev Murti announced and introduced the ‘Hospital Aapke Dwaar Par’ initiative, offering ICU care at patients’ doorsteps, and declared that no ICU patient will be charged for bed and nursing after 21 days. Urging future medicos to focus on preventive care, he called for innovation driven by compassion and responsibility.
Dr MS Butola, Principal, presented the institutional report, highlighting top recognitions like 5th Rank in UP (excluding NCR) and 13th in North India by Outlook & NEB Research 2025, and 37th rank (government & private both) in India Today Best Medical Colleges Survey 2025.
Aditya Murti, Director Administration, praised the team’s public service legacy and emphasized improving lives through a collective, integrated approach. He also spotlighted key milestones—UP Govt recognition under Invest UP, new Day Care Chemotherapy Center, international-level ATLS course, CSR initiatives & CMEs, eco-friendly green campus practices, a 265-capacity hostel and mess for students and faculty etc.
The event concluded with awards to outstanding departments, students, and staff, along with a 5-day Minimally Invasive Surgery Camp offering up to 50% discount, benefitting hundreds with a commitment to ethical, accessible care. ‘SRMS Medical Journal’ & magazine ‘Connect 2025’ were also unveiled.
