  1. Blood Centre: We operate a well-organized blood centre that provides Blood Donation, Donor Counselling and Donor Recruitment services. Our focus on safe and voluntary donation ensures a steady supply of blood products for those in need.

Blood Component Separation Unit: Our advanced blood component separation unit is equipped to separate whole blood into various components, enabling us to provide targeted treatments and therapies. The blood components available are Leucodepleted Concentrated Red Cells, Concentrated Red Cells, Leucoreduced Platelet Concentrate, Fresh Frozen Plasma, Cryoprecipitate, Cryopoor Plasma.
  3. Transfusion Transmissible Infections: Screening of donated blood for transfusion transmissible infections by using Electrochemiluminescence and MinipoolNucelic Acid Amplification Technology.
  4. Compatibility Testing: Before any transfusion, compatibility between donor blood and recipient is crucial. Our Blood Centre performs rigorous compatibility testing to minimize the risk of adverse reactions due to transfusion of incompatible blood.
  1. Immunohematology: Donor and patient sample testing with fully automated Immune-Hematology Analyzer
    • Red cell antigen typing for major blood group antigen (ABO & Rh-D).
    • Red cell antigen typing for minor blood group antigens.
    • Antibody screening (3 cell panel): by Solid Phase Red Cell Adherence (SPRCA)technology.
    • Antibody identification of clinically significant allo-antibodies against minor blood group antigens; using SPRCA Technology and Liquid Cell Panels.
    • Weak D typing
    • Advanced workup for antenatal cases, Hemolytic Disease of the Fetus and Newborn and Autoimmune Hemolytic Anemia.
    • Resolution of blood group discrepancies.
    • Provision of extended Rh Kell matched blood to transfusion dependent and patients on multiple transfusion.
    • Provision of antigen negative best matched blood to patients positive for allo- antibodies.
    • Paroxysmal Nocturnal Hemoglobinuria (PNH) screening test using Gel technology.
    • Heparin Induced Thrombocytopenia (HIT) screening test using Gel technology.
    • Complete workup of warm, cold and mixed type of Autoimmune Hemolytic Anemia.

  2. Apheresis: Our Hospital offers apheresis procedures—a specialized technique where specific blood components areseparated and collected, while the remaining blood components are returned to the donor. The procedure can be done on the donor as well as on the patients.
