The Department has a new Modular Cardiac OT with all the required facilities. The procedures being performed in the department include : Cardiac Procedures: Off Pump CABG (beat heart surgery), valve replacements (AVR, MVR, and DVR), Septal Defect Closures (ASD, VSD), PDA Ligation, open and closed mitral valvotomy, excision of cardiac myxoma, RSOV repair. Vascular Procedures: Aorto-femoral bypass, axillo-bifemoral bypass, femoro-femoral bypass, aneurysm repair, arterial repair, and embolectomy for acute limb ischemia and surgery for varicose veins. Thoracic Procedures: Thoracic tumor excision, lobectomy, pneumonectomy, hydatid cyst removal, decortication, resection of emphysematous bullae.
