A landmark celebration of knowledge, innovation, and evidence-based healthcare came alive at SRMS Institute of Medical Sciences (IMS), Bareilly as SRMS 6th Medicine Update with 2nd UPCCDSICON concluded successfully.
Organized by Department of General Medicine in collaboration with Clinical Cardio Diabetic Society of India and API Bareilly Branch, the prestigious conference, themed “Bedside Decisions to Guidelines Driven Practices”, brought together some of India’s finest clinicians, academicians, researchers, and healthcare experts.
The national conference was inaugurated by Shri Dev Murti (Chairman, SRMS Trust), alongside Chief Guest Dr RK Dhiman (Director, SGPGI) who delivered a Keynote Lecture; Guests of Honour Dr Anil Kumar Virmani (Internal Medicine Specialist, Jamshedpur) & Prof Dr Anuj Maheshwari (HIMS, Sitapur), and Dr Smita Gupta, HOD, Department of General Medicine, SRMS IMS. The event was graced by Prof Dr Nirmal Yadav (HOD, General Medicine, SRMS); Er Subhash Mehra (Trust Advisor); Dr Rohit Sharma (Vice Principal); Dr RP Singh (Medical Superintendent); Dr SK Sagar (Dean PG), Dr Bindu Garg (Dean UG), various HODs & faculty members.
Marking prestigious honours in medicine, 1st Shri Ram Murti Oration was awarded to Dr Nirmal Yadav; 1st Dr Madhukar Rai Oration to Dr Anil Kumar Virmani & Chairman Oration to Prof Dr Anuj Maheshwari.
