YOUR EYES CAN LIVE ON. LET THEM GIVE SOMEONE A NEW TOMORROW!

25 years of SRMS Eye Bank. 25 years of keeping the gift of sight alive…

This 41st National Eye Donation Fortnight, from August 25 to September 8, carries a special meaning for SRMS Institute of Medical Sciences (IMS), Bareilly. Through its Department of Ophthalmology, SRMS IMS is marking the 25th Eye Donation Fortnight of its Eye Bank, a journey built on one simple belief: the gift of sight should never end with a life.

Eye donation is not just about giving after death. It is about leaving behind something that can change another person’s life. A decision you make today could mean that someone who has never seen the face of a loved one, watched a sunrise or simply seen the world around them, gets a chance to experience it.

So this fortnight, make the pledge. Have the conversation with your family. Tell someone why eye donation matters. Encourage them to come forward too. Because when you donate your eyes, a part of you can continue to bring light into someone else’s world.

25 years behind us… Countless possibilities ahead…Pledge to donate your eyes. Let your sight become someone else’s second chance.
