WORLD TRAUMA WEEK (OCTOBER 12-17) at SRMS INSTITUTE of MEDICAL SCIENCES: When Every Second Counts, Trauma Care Can Change Everything!

As World Trauma Week 2026 continues at SRMS Institute of Medical Sciences, Bareilly, we are working towards a safer future through greater awareness, first-responder training, timely intervention and quality trauma care.

With the theme “Building a Safer Future with Trauma Care,” the Department of Emergency Medicine & Trauma is conducting initiatives for schools, students and the wider community in the run-up to World Trauma Day on 17 October. The week includes first-responder programmes, an American College of Surgeons-certified TEAM Course, a Trauma Quiz for final-year MBBS students, and the planned launch of a Trauma Registry and Ambulance App.
