The resurgence of surgical gastroenterology
department started in March 2018. The department is
fully functional and the team comprising of
gastrosurgeon, OT technicians, anesthetist and critical
care has been actively involved in managing patients
with state of art surgical & endoscopic treatments.
The team is providing laparoscopic and open surgical
treatment in accordance with the latest literature and
protocols. The centre is also providing bariatric and
advanced laparoscopic surgical facilities. Equipped with
the modern knowledge and equipments, the department
aims to bring the facilities of surgical gastroenterology to
one and all at an affordable cost and provide round the clock availability. The department caters from basic to
the most advanced health related issues including
malignancies of oesophagus, stomach intestines, gall
bladder, liver, pancreas, spleen, colon, rectum and
intra-abdominal organs. These issues are tackled with
a varied organs. These issues are tackled with a varied
combination of open, surgical and endoscopic
interventions.
