100 Beds, R R Cancer Institute and Research Center was inaugurated on 30th September 2008 to provide integrated oncology services, which focuses on delivering the right treatment and support to patients, as early as possible in their cancer treatment journey.
At SRMS Hospital in Bareilly, we are committed to providing compassionate and comprehensive oncology care to our patients. Our experienced team of radiation oncologists, onco surgeons, physicists, technicians, nurses, and support staff work collaboratively to ensure that every patient receives personalized and effective care throughout their cancer journey. The management of all the patients undergoes a stringent vigilance of “Tumor Board” which comprises of specialists from various departments.

Treatment Facilities
Radiation Oncology
Functioning under the auspices of the Department of Radiotherapy, it is equipped with two High Energy Linear Accelerators and 30 channel HDR Brachytherapy. The advanced Linear Accelerator TRUE BEAM is high precision radiation equipment that has evolved recently to treat the wide spectrum of cancers. It is the most sophisticated and expensive cancer treatment machines available today in the world. TRUE BEAM machine performs radiation treatments with high precision and speed. The radiation dose can be delivered with 0.3mm precision around the tumor with minimum collateral damage.
The Department of Radiotherapy is always refining radiation oncology treatment methods to deliver the highest-quality patient care possible. An unmatched range of equipment includes the latest strategies to treat tumors aggressively, while reducing the side effects.
Medical Oncology
Our medical oncologists create personalized chemotherapy and targeted therapy regimens, using the latest advancements to effectively treat a variety of cancers. Chemotherapy is the use of cytotoxic drugs to treat the cancer. We have day care and inpatient 60 beds ward devoted exclusively for administration of chemotherapy by trained staff under the supervision of expert chemotherapist. Biosafety Cabinet acts as primary barrier to prevent the escape of biological aerosols into the ward. Facility of targeted chemotherapy, immunotherapy, hormonal therapies along with onset chemotherapy with HIPEC are also available and being performed regularly.
Surgical Oncology
Our expert surgeons perform a wide range of cancer surgeries, from tumor removal to organ-sparing procedures, all with a focus on achieving the best possible outcomes. The experienced and qualified onco surgeons and super specialist surgeons such as neuro surgeon, urologist, GI surgeon, ENT Head & Neck surgeon, plastic surgeon etc are performing onco surgeries precisely with best possible outcome.
Various Onco surgeries are being performed routinely for different cancers like- Head & Neck Cancer (Laryngeal, Lip and Oral Cavity, Nasal & Paranasal, Thyroid & Parathyroid, Salivary Gland Cancers), Breast Cancer, Gynaecological Cancer (Cervical, Ovarian, Endometrial and Vaginal Cancers), GI Cancer (Colorectal, Bile Duct, Gall Bladder, Esophagus, Liver, Pancreatic, Gastric Cancers), Genitourinary Cancer (Bladder, Kidney, Penile, Prostate and Testicular Cancers), Brain & Spinal Cord Tumors, Lung Cancer & Bone Cancer.
Palliative Care
Our palliative care team ensures that patients experience the best possible quality of life during and after treatment, managing pain and other symptoms to enhance comfort and well-being. 20 Beds palliative care ward is being run by the R R Cancer Institute & Research Centre with the aim to provide quality and specialized palliative treatment to the terminally ill cancer patients in terms of physical care, psychological care and spiritual care. Patients attendant are trained for basic health needs for their loved ones.
