RR CANCER INSTITUTE AT SRMS INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES TO HONOUR CANCER SURVIVOR ‘OM SHEELA GAUR’ on WORLD CANCER DAY (FEB.4, 2025)

Celebrating resilience and hope, and in alignment with WORLD CANCER DAY 2025 theme, ‘United by Unique’, RR Cancer Institute & Research Centre at Shri Ram Murti Smarak Institute of Medical Sciences (SRMS IMS), Bareilly, will host a special and grand felicitation event to honor ‘Cancer Survivors’ at SRMS Alakhnanda Staff Club on February 4, 2025. Among them is OM SHEELA GAUR from Bareilly, diagnosed with Breast Cancer, who triumphed over her diagnosis in 2014, under the care of Dr Piyush Kumar Agarwal, Director, RR Cancer Institute, and Dr Arvind Kumar Chauhan, Professor, Department of Radiation Oncology, SRMSIMS.

Well, this celebration acknowledges the courage of survivors who have triumphed over cancer and thrived for more than a decade after receiving care at SRMS IMS. The event shall witness Cancer
Survivors from UP sharing their inspiring journeys, offering hope and strength to others; informative awareness sessions on cancer prevention, early detection, screening, treatment and holistic care, and collective efforts in the fight against cancer.
