SRMS INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES COMMEMORATES ‘WORLD AIDS DAY’ WITH NUKKAD NATAK PROMOTING HIV AWARENESS & PREVENTION!

In align with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG 3.3) of United Nations, Shri Ram Murti Smarak Institute of Medical Sciences (SRMS IMS), Bareilly marked World AIDS Day with a Nukkad Natak (Street Play) competition, highlighting he modes of HIV transmission, its preventive measures & importance of dispelling myths surrounding this virus.

The students of SRMS Trust institutions, including College of Engineering & Technology (CET), IMS, Institute of Paramedical Sciences (IPS) & College of Nursing gave impactful performances showcasing collective responsibility in combating this HIV epidemic. Their powerful storytelling inspired the audience to extend societal support & contribute towards a future, free of HIV/AIDS.

Towards the end, Dr MS Butola, Principal IMS & Dr Rohit Sharma, Dean PG felicitated the winners with certificates, wherein SRMS IPS clinched first prize, while SRMS CET stood second. The competition was adjudged by SRMS IMS medicos — Dr Meenakshi Jindal, Professor, Department of Pharmacology; Dr Surabhi Pandey, Professor, Department of Pathology & Dr Neelam Gupta, Professor, Department of Microbiology.
