The Department of Computer Science & Engineering at Shri Ram Murti Smarak College of Engineering, Technology &Research (SRMS CETR), Bareilly recently organized a fun-filled farewell for B Tech CSE students of Batch 2020, which was a memorable evening of excitement &nostalgia. Revolving around the theme ‘Campus to Cosmos,’ the students of Batch 2021 bid adieu to the outgoing batch, celebrating their exhilarating college journey.
Brimming with great joy, the inauguration was done with ceremonial lamp lightning by Dr LS Maurya, Principal CETR, who gave an inspirational address in the presence of Dr Sushil Kumar Sharma, Principal, SRMS College of Law; Dr Muthu Maheshwari, Principal, SRMS College of Nursing; Er Ankit Khandelwal, DSW; Er Ankur Kumar, Chief Proctor & several others.
The event witnessed students having a time of their life amidst pulsating music. From melodious musical performances, captivating dance performances, exciting games to wordplay, solo dance & shaayari, the event was a true celebration of talent & camaraderie. A group dance by students of Batch 2021 on electrifying songs added to the evening. The highlight of the farewell bash was a surprise video, showcasing cherished moments of the outgoing batch, which encapsulated their journey from confused freshmen to confident graduates. Later, a vote of thanks was delivered by Aditya Srivastava, Secretary of Verve Club. Towards the end, Ayush Mishra & Archana Mishra, B Tech final-year students (Batch 2020) were crowned as Mr & Miss Farewell respectively, followed by cake-cutting ceremony.
