The Department of Computer Science and Engineering offers 4-year B.Tech. programme, in Computer Science and Engineering. The Department is a centre of excellence providing in-depth technical knowledge and opportunities for innovation and research with up-to-date computer facilities. It lays emphasis on Software Engineering, Algorithm Analysis and Design, Operating Systems, Computer Graphics, Database and Information Systems Engineering and Networking Technologies while providing exposure to emerging technologies as well as futuristic technologies like Cloud computing and High Performance Computing.

The focus is on state of the art projects to be done by our BE, excellent teaching learning process, better alumni relations, good Industry attachment program through outcome based education. Along with this, the department provides extensive student engagement framework through regular interactions, Annual Educational Tours, regular feedback mechanism, Professional Chapters and Societies.

The department has young, motivated and dedicated faculties with a good ratio of faculty with PG degree. The research area of the faculties is in the field of Software Engineering, Grid & Cloud Computing, Theoretical Computer Sciences, Data Mining , Information Systems and Computer Networking. Many of the faculty members has presenting their research work in highly reputed conferences and workshops.
