In a vibrant showcase of talent & enthusiasm, Department of CSE at SRMS College of Engineering, Technology & Research (CETR), Bareilly organized a Fresher’s Bash, welcoming first-year students of B Tech & BHMCT. Titled as ‘Freshtopia’, the freshers eve saw dazzling performances, lively interactions & exciting games, helping the freshers break the ice & foster camaraderie with seniors & among peers.
The celebration commenced with a spirited Ganesh Vandana by Ashi & Anshika, followed by an impressively-choreographed group dance by 1 st year girls. The energy in the auditorium surged with high-energy dance by 2nd year boys. The stage was set on fire with duet dance, singing & drama performances along with movie spoof, guess the song competition etc. Students also expressed their creativity & emotions through heartfelt poem recitation. Adding a touch of glamour to the evening, the mock rock performance & ramp walk showcased the confidence & charisma of participants. Towards the culmination, Akhilesh Kumar & Unnati Mishra were crowned with popular titles of Mr & Miss Fresher respectively, while Adarsh Gupta & Umaima Hussain grabbed Mr & Miss Versatile titles each.
Earlier, the event began with lamp lightning by Dr Shailesh Saxena, Dean Academics, CETR; Dr Manvi Mishra, Associate Professor & Head, CSE Department; Er KK Agarwal, Head, Department of Basic Sciences; Dr Moushumi Banerjee, Assistant Professor, BHMCT; Er Kapil Bhushan, DSW etc.
