The exciting 3-day HACKATHON 3.0 — a 36-hour innovation marathon at SRMS College of Engineering & Technology (CET), Bareilly under the mentorship of Institution’s Innovation Council & TechEdge Cell wrapped-up with grand Prize Distribution ceremony. Themed on‘Sustainable & Circular Solutions for Disaster Management’, Hackathon brought together 37 teams across India who demonstrated their problem-solving skills, technical expertise with innovative solutions.
Amidst fierce battle for glory, Team Reinforcers from RMD Engineering College, Chennai, Tamil Nadu won Hackathon 3.0, receiving Rs 31,000. Team Aadhithi Ootru from NPR College of Engineering & Technology, Dindigul, Tamil Nadu & Team Electro Minds from SRMS CET, Bareilly grabbed second & third prize, grabbing Rs 21,000 & Rs 11,000 each. Consolation prize of Rs 5,000 each went to Team Tornado (CET); Team Avinya (Bansal IET, Lucknow) & Team Code Akironics (SRMS CETR).
Shri Dev Murti, Chairman, SRMS Trust also felicitated the industry experts like Krishna Bhasin, Tech Lead at Hashed In by Deloitte; Akriti Chauhan, Senior Analyst at IBM; Sachin Saxena, Senior Analyst at Accenture; Ritu Gupta, CEO & Founder at Techvision Technologies & CAD Mentor; Mohd Faisal Aftab, Director, InfoTech Services with mementos. Ashish Agrawal, Faculty Coordinator, IT department gave vote of thanks in the presence of Guest of Honor, Prateek Agnihotri, GM & Zonal Head, Bank of Baroda, Bareilly Zone; Aditya Murti, Trust Secretary; Er Subhash Mehra, Trust Advisor; Dr Prabhakar Gupta, Principal, CET; Dr Shailesh Saxena, Dean Academics, CETR etc.
Earlier, Hackathon 3.0was inaugurated by Shri Dev Murti. Renowned entrepreneur, Neeraj Kumar Choudhary, Founder, Shri Bansi Gau Dham LLP, &Jatin Gangwar, Oracle Database Administrator, Kyndryl were also present, who delivered engaging sessions.
