SRMS College of Engineering & Technology (CET), Bareilly has embarked on Day 3 of HACKATHON 3.0 — a 36-hour innovation marathon (March 27–29, 2025), where participants presented their prototype evaluations after hours of intense brainstorming sessions. Organized under the mentorship of Institution’s Innovation Council & TechEdge Cell, the hackathon, themed ‘Sustainable and Circular Solutions for Disaster Management’, has united students from Uttar Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu & Madhya Pradesh to develop groundbreaking tech solutions for a safer, more resilient world.
As the hackathon unfolds its final day, prototype evaluations are in full swing, followed by valedictory session & prize distribution.
However, 46 teams participating across India includes SRMS CET, Bareilly; SRMS CETR, Bareilly; MIT, Moradabad; CMR CET, Hyderabad; NPR College of Engineering & Technology, Tamil Nadu; Rathinam Technical Campus, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu; KIT, Kanpur; RMD Engineering College, Chennai; Bansal IET, Lucknow; Gyan Ganga College of Technology, Jabalpur; AIMT, Lucknow; IPS Academy, Indore; and Rakshpal Bahadur College of Engineering & Technology, Bareilly.
Let’s hear from Er Smita Dinkar , Assistant Professor, EN Department, SRMS CET who highlighted the impact of the event, stating that hackathon 3.0 has been an incredible platform for students to showcase their creativity and problem-solving abilities. Adding further, Team Avinya (Abhishek Dixit, Suraj Singh, Aryan Singh, Shubham Yadav) from Bansal Institute of Engineering & Technology, Lucknow; Team Code Quakers (Priyanshu Sharma, Tanishq Rastogi, Varsha Kumari, Premraj Singh) from MIT, Moradabad, and Team Scrap Cyclers (Siddhi Gupta, Ankita Singh, Krati Gaur) from SRMS CET who impressed the jury with their innovative prototypes.
