The Department of Computer Science & Engineering at SRMS College of Engineering, Technology & Research (CETR), Bareilly in collaboration with Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) – SRMS CETR recently hosted a Discussion Forum on ‘How to Prepare for Industry’ as a part of its significant Hand-Holding Initiative for first & second-year students of B Tech (CS).
The event began with giving away of plant saplings to a lineup of guest speakers, Rakshit Mathur, Founder & CEO, Synthetico AI Pvt. Ltd (Alumni Batch 2016); Vansh Saxena, Software Engineer, TCS (Alumni Batch 2019); Urooj Khan, AI Engineer, Alyssum Global Services (Alumni Batch 2019) & Tanisha Saxena, Analyst Engineer, Deloitte (Alumni Batch 2019).
During the session, Rakshit Mathur shared his college memories & gave an overview of his company’s ongoing projects, while Tanisha Saxena offered candid and practical insights into the placement process, while discussing about her challenges during her transition from campus to corporate life. Adding to the wealth of knowledge, Urooj Khan emphasised upon skill development & career exploration opportunities. Vansh Saxena shared personal experiences including lessons learned from past challenges in college life, providing practical solutions for common students’ concern. The day concluded with doubt-clearing session, wherein students addressed their queries on academic choices, career paths & professional development.
Towards the end, Er Subhash Mehra, Trust Advisor & Dr Shailesh Saxena, Dean Academics, CETR presented memento to the alumni speakers. Vote of thanks was delivered by Syyeda Aamna, Verve Club Secretary.
