Role of Passion in Entrepreneurship
It has been a great honor for SRMSCET&R, that a team of 4 members has been selected under “IV Edition of Dr. Kalam Startup Parikrama, a state-wide effort to foster entrepreneurship and help Startups”. It is a campaign for potential entrepreneurs, students, existing startups, and colleges affiliated to AKTU, especially the ones who have the potential but are reluctant due to lack of knowledge.
AKTU K-CIIS had organized a Startup Pitching Competition “Dr. Kalam Startup Parikrama” on 15th February, 2018 at Future Group of Institions, Bareilly. For the competition, there was registration process for the startups up to 13th February, 2018.
3 teams from SRMS CET&R had registered on 13-02-2018 and got shortlisted to pitch their idea/prototype at decided venue on 15-02-2018. There were 13 shortlisted teams out of 300 entries. A team comprising of 4 members of CS-15:Sanjana Rastogi(Group Leader), Mamta Gupta, Tanuja Dwivedi & Shraddha Upadhyay of CET&R secured 3rd position with cash price of Rs. 3000 .00 for their idea “Voice Recognizing Helmet”, with which they became eligible to be incubated by AKTU in future.
