SRMS ENGINEERING & RESEARCH COLLEGE CONDUCTS INTER-COLLEGE QUIZ on WORLD METEOROLOGICAL DAY, PROMOTING CLIMATE ACTION & UN SDG 13!

SRMS College of Engineering, Technology & Research (CETR), Bareilly recently organized an inter-college Quiz Competition under the aegis of IIC – SRMS CET & R commemorating World Meteorological Day, which was strategically aligned with UN Sustainable Development Goals(SDG 13-Climate Action).

As an integral part of SRMS Trust’s ongoing initiative to implement SDGs across its various institutions, this event, open to students of all SRMS Trust Institutions fostered trust’s commitment to sustainable development. Students explored & understood critical climate-related challenges, and used this platform for intellectual discourse on crucial global environmental issues.

The competition was graced by prominent dignitaries including Er Subhash Mehra, Trust Advisor & Dr Shailesh Saxena, Dean Academics, provided inspiring leadership & guidance to the participants. The event’s energy was further amplified by Dev Rastogi, Verve President, who skil fully managed the proceedings as the MOC, creating a dynamic atmosphere. Quiz Masters, Shikhar Agarwal & Pranav Dubey crafted an exceptional competition that tested participants’ knowledge, critical thinking & understanding of meteorological & environmental concepts. Their carefully designed questions challenged students to demonstrate their expertise into complex climate-related topics, making the competition both educational & intellectually stimulating.

After intense rounds of questioning & strategic responses, SRMS College of Engineering (CET) comprising of Tanya Gupta, Mahi Gupta, Varun Kumar Sharma emerged as the champions, securing the first place.SRMS College of Engineering, Technology & Research (CET & R) comprising of Prakhar Gupta, Chetan Raghav, Ishita Shukla claimed the second position, while SRMS Institute of Paramedical Sciences (IPS) having Vaishnavi, Arzoo Raza, Riya Yadav stood third. The competition concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by event Coordinator, Akshatra Gupta.
